Ed was featured on the Johnnie Walker show on BBC Radio 2 last night (Tuesday 19 April)! For the next few days you should be able to listen to the show online (Ed's segment is about 1hr 20mins into the show - RealPlayer should let you "seek" to that point and play from there).

Unfortunately, as a result of the interest generated by the show, this website blew its bandwith limit! To get it back online I have temporary disabled the MP3 files.

On a positive note, Echoes went to number 2 in the Amazon.co.uk sales chart on 20 April!

Thanks to everyone who got in touch to say they'd seen Ed busking in Chester and elsewhere. I've now heard that after some lengthy delays caused by certain record labels, Ed's new album Echoes will be out on the Wingspan label in 2005. I hope to have some more information soon!

Unfortunately I have had no news from Ed & Denyze in quite a long while. That's the reason for no updates to the site. If anyone has seen them recently or knows what they might be up to, please let me know!

Ultraviolet, Ed's classic second solo album from 1994, which has only been available on import for some years, has been digitally re-mastered and re-packaged and will be re-released in most major record shops on 7th July 2003 on Wingspan Records (WING CD4). Copies can be ordered from HMV, Virgin Records, or Amazon.co.uk. The re-release includes new artwork and a newly restored 'backwards violin' outro on track ten which was accidentally omitted from the original release.

Ed and Denyze have been taking some time out recently as they are now the proud parents of a baby boy, named Jago. Ed is now recording a new solo album called Baroq, and they are about to start doing gigs again - more news here soon!

Received a letter from Ed and Denyze giving details of how to order CDs directly from Wingspan. Also added a new gig date. Ed and Denyze are busy writing and recording a new album which they are hoping to get out in the summer. They're not giving much away yet, but apparently "a surprise is in store!"...

18 July 1998

Updated the site a little including re-arranging the main frameset, hopefully this will allow more space for the main content pages and less clutter. Also added a new page on the stone circles (which Ed and Denyze often visit and write about) having just received some information from Ed and Denyze. Also they have informed me that in a recent edition of The Lawyer magazine, a featured lawyer Richard Miller lists this site as his most-visited Web site!!

Not much news for a while. Things may improve now that I have a little more time to attend to the site. All the pages have now been given the HTML 4.0 DOCTYPE and will become fully compliant within the next few days.

Went to the gig at Borderline last night. Please have a read of my review. Had a chat with Ed afterwards about a number of ideas, including an "official" Wingspan Records web-site. Watch this space, as they say!

Tidied a few links up, and as there were no complaints, made the old site unavailable. Added a few samples - one minute from each of the three current albums. These are available as WAV files - click on the appropriate link on each of the album pages.

Had a phone call from Ed, regarding the new album! It is now to be released in January 1998, but a limited edition CD single will shortly be available! More details to come soon!
